Be Self-Reliant and Prepared

The United States was formed for a nation of adults. Adults aren’t just people who are 18 or older, they are people who are self-sufficient and take responsibility for themselves. Able-bodied people taking handouts from the government, or from anyone for that matter, is wrong. Say no to free lunch, free healthcare, free college, and other so-called free things that are paid for by tax dollars. This includes benefits like earned income credit and unemployment relief. We should not expect other people to pay our way through life. Wise adults prepare for emergencies and learn basic skills that allow them to be self-sufficient when necessary; for example, you could learn the basics of cooking outside, water storage, food storage, keeping a budget, and saving money for future emergencies. If you want others to take care of you, you will have to forfeit your freedom. Choose freedom.
