Support Apprenticeships

Learning doesn’t necessarily take place in a classroom. Apprenticeships are a great option for people who want to learn a vocation by doing rather than in the traditional university setting. In an apprenticeship, workers are paid while they gain skills and mentoring in a field that interests them. They also avoid student debt and the downsides of campus culture. Employers benefit as they have the opportunity to train and learn firsthand the attributes and skills of apprentices before hiring them to do advanced jobs. No wonder 60 percent of workers in Germany have been through an apprenticeship.
